How To Apply

We look at every single applicant’s application, academic and personal record, to select students who suit our community with a full range of backgrounds.

The Application Process

Start Online Submission

You must begin the admissions application process by selecting the Apply Now link listed on the VUL home page under the admissions tab located at the top of the web page. You will then be prompted to establish a username and password. This will allow you to log into your account and edit your information before submitting the application. The application will not need to be completed in one attempt.

Submit The Form

Once you have completed all pertinent information there will be one final prompt requesting you to pay the application fee of $25.00. You will then receive a confirmation notification stating the application has been submitted.

Review The Submission

After the application has been submitted the Admissions Office will review the application to ensure all of the information listed is accurate. Your information will be filed into the VUL application database and an admissions associate will contact you via email. The email will serve as a secondary confirmation and will contain other application forms you will need to complete and return to the Admission Office.

Gather Necessary Documents

Once you have received the email with the appropriate documents you will have up to the final day of the Add/Drop period to complete the admissions process for Fall/Spring enrollment. You will be notified of the official Add/Drop dates for each semester.

Interviewing Process

This process consists of speaking with you to gauge interest in attending the university and interest in your preferred program. During this time you will be given the time to ask questions about VUL and address any concerns that you may have about attending the university.

Last Decision

Final decisions are made after all documents have been submitted. VUL has an open enrollment policy so the final decision for any given semester will be on the final day of the Add/ Drop deadline. If an applicant does not meet the submission deadline we will have their application deadline moved forward to the following semester. By applying this method the applicant that missed the previous deadline will have until the end of the following semester’s Add/Drop period to be completely cleared by the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices.

Things To Know

VUL requires a Common Application for students applying to any or all of VUL’s degree programs. You’ll be able to choose your campus and program that interests you.

You will need :

Contact information for the counselor or other school representative who will complete your Common Application School Report and submit your official high school transcript.
A Nonrefundable $25 application fee. Fee waivers may be acquired from high school officials. VUL Admissions does not give out such forms.

When To Apply?

VUL has open enrollment policy, A student may be officially accepted at any time. However, if the semester, is well underway and it was the applicant’s intention to start the semester they will have to begin classes the following semester.
