ID Services

ID Services (VUL Graphic Design Dept.) issues the official Virginia University of Lynchburg identification card and provides other services for students, faculty, and staff. Please make sure to bring your student ID number and a locally issued state ID at the time of your visit.

Please note: A replacement VUL ID incurs a $30.00 fee.

Caring for your VUL ID

Your VUL ID is durable and built to last the entire time you’re a student or employee here at VUL. Still, a little prevention can significantly reduce the probability of requiring a new card.

Do not do the following with your VUL ID:

• Punch holes
• Scratch the magnetic stripe
• Put through the washing machine
• Bend or twist
• Laminate or tape
• Share personal information about your card with others
• Expose to extreme heat
• Use as an ice scraper
• Tamper with the information on the card
• Bite or chew
• Loan to others
• Place near magnets or computers
