The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is to collaborate with the University’s academic, administrative and educational support units to identify expected outcomes for educational programs and, administrative and educational support services. The office works with faculty, staff, and administration, to achieve outcomes that support student learning and align with institutional strategic goals and accreditation requirements. The evidence of these efforts informs decision-making regarding actions to be taken to ensure program and institutional effectiveness and enhancement.
The goal of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is to assist units to integrate the planning, evaluation and budgeting processes into a sustained, ongoing and comprehensive practice across the University. To ensure that the office impacts both academic and non-academic units it reports to both the President and the Chief Operating Officer. This strengthens the linkage of outcomes, assessments with resource allocation and planning at the university level.
